INSET Day!

For today, my school organised a full-on, full day of ‘masterclass’ lectures and workshops for the staff, led by a veritable superstar of the educational world - sort of if you were a baker and got to spend the day working with Mary Berry.

As I’ll be leaving teaching forever on the 23rd of July, however, there really wasn’t any point in my going (and it would only be ‘rubbing salt in the wound’ anyway) so I did what parents already think teachers actually do on INSET days and spent the morning out shopping with my son, had a lovely lunch then back home to Netflix.

Disclaimer: I did also go to the dump and get two new tyres and will be doing school prep tonight!
