Papaver Picotee

This is probably my favourite poppy.
It flowers slightly later than my other poppies. As the petals fall from from the first flowers the buds on this poppy are just beginning to open.
The amount of white varies in the individual flowers.

So much rain down south .... it wouldn't be so good if we could have a constant drizzle during the night ..... not hard enough to flatten the plants, just enough to soak a few inches into the earth.
