Philadelphus Blooming!

This is a large shrub and at present it is in full bloom. It hasnt been damaged by the wind and rain as most of the roses have. So it gets its chance to show off!

Jack drove us to the vets to pick up Mittz's prescription and then some quick shopping. It feels like getting back to normal with Jack behind the wheel. When we got home Oreste our gardener had just arrived. Quite a shock for him to see the fallen trunk. He is thinking whether he will take the clearing up job on as well as his normal work for us. We will see!
