Foxgloves

The day started with coffee at Runswick Bay followed by a walk and a paddle on the beach . Lots of sailing dinghies there which added colour to the bay . 
We picnicked at Whitby and later walked at Danby . There is a young lapwing in the fields by the farm ( see extra) . A spur of the moment decision meant dinner at The Fox and Hounds at Ainthorpe . Then we strolled over the moor . It’s so different being here now seeing so much wildlife and a great variety of birds .
