A Soothing Moment in Birsay

On the horizon Westray has never looked so menacing.  Overcast in all directions, wind WNW.

A quick sprint along the west coast.  Later we were treated to a meal at the Merkister by a very well-heeled Blipper.

More time clearing out my Mum’s flat.  At one time we had to call a team of archivists from the National Museum of Scotland when we found consecutive dog licenses from 1957 – 61.     

Found three and eightpence three farthing down the back of the settee.
