LD 453. Last glimpse of the solstice sun

On the longest day the sun dips behind the hills across Loch Riddon just after 9.00 pm.

In six months time , on the shortest day , it will happen ( and much further along the ridge) well before 4.00 .

However the midges won’t be out in December but they certainly were tonight. None the less it was beautiful , and after a lovely warm day too.
