Leighton Moss

RSPB Leighton Moss and the surrounding area looked green and lush when we visited today, and the reed beds were rustling in the breeze. I love that sound !

We had an excellent view of a marsh harrier but there were no booming bitterns to be heard today - a sign that the season is moving on.
