Solstice swims

We explored the lovely island of Vatersay at the southern end of Barra, with its idyllic beaches. Sounds of the day include the melodic call of the golden plover in the hills, the grating noise of a corncrake, the whistling of oystercatchers, and the joyful singing of skylarks.
