Construction Time Again

Evening all.

Ha, two days in a row i've managed blip on the correct day, what is the world coming to!

I'd been up to a local hospice this afternoon to do a few bits and pieces but had to follow a diversion to get back on the Motorway. The diversion took me past a building site where they were putting some of these wind turbines together.

It was like watching people playing with a gigantic Meccano set, and i know it sounds daft but as the blades were lying flat in a farmer's field awaiting the lift, it really gave me a completely differebt feel for the sheer size and scale of the thing.

In other news, sadly number 1 daughter has re-fractured her foot and is now in a cast (again) for another six to eight weeks, i was driving when i got the message about this and i swore so long and so vehemently that i'm sure all the other car drivers gave me an extra wide berth in case i was in the final throes of terminal road rage....
