A Momentous Day

Our first COVID vaccination this morning, so happy to have started the process of keeping us and others safe from this pesky virus.

The process went like clockwork, our frontline workers/nurses/helpers were amazing.  My vaccinator was lovely, her first day on the job and she expected to vaccinate 250 today, there were six or seven cubicles, once vaccinated went to a desk where they asked your name etc, then instructed to sit down with a drink of water and a lollypop.  When your required 20 minutes was up they called your name and gave the certificate and off we went.
I've tagged this for Tiny Tuesday "pink".  The remains of the lollypop that I couldn't even finish in my required 20 minutes.  Sickly and too sweet.
