Fallen

We had our first three daffodils open on Monday and then the cold struck. By Wednesday, they were drooping sadly due to a combination of cold and strong winds. This morning we had a grass frost and spreading a sheet of plastic to lie on, I used my macro lens to get some close-ups of a very sad looking daffodil head.

However, having had a day of pleasant sunshine, they did pick themselves up off the floor, and while they aren't upright, yet, there may still be hope.
