Fly-past

We did not walk with the group today, L is doing an on-line course which she could not miss. I went off for an explore with my camera and we did a shorter walk during the afternoon.  This RAF Chinook was heard, then seen flying low up St Johns Vale, just south east of Keswick; and yes they were lower than us.  Years ago I can remember walking above Windermere and looking down on a pair of Tornado's flying low level up the valley!  Happy days! Not so much jet noise up here anymore.
