Comet Pan-STARRS, a mixed success

The weather cooperated and provided clear skies. We could see the comet with the naked eye - barely. It was mighty low but it was there. I got some shots and this was the best. Disappointing result. I had to retouch it a bit to get the contrast and sharpen it up. Not sure why it didn't work so well. Maybe the camera was too cold? We may have a chance or two yet. I'm satisfied we got to see it, at least. The photo helps but is isn't a great keepsake, unfortunately.
