Common tern

It's a good job it doesn't know its name. It would fly through life thinking to itself "Why Common tern? Why couldn't I have been an Arctic tern? Or an Antarctic tern, or a Roseate tern, or a Fairy tern, or a Greater Crested tern, or an Elegant tern. A Common tern - and I'm not even the commonest tern. Sigh..."
