Another beautiful day; bodes well for the fans at the Scotland/Croatia football game in the Euros tonight, at least they will have a lovely sunny evening.  

We made the very best of the good weather by heading over to Auchinstarry  and walking along the Forth and Clyde canal to Twechar.  From there we climbed up Barr Hill to the remains of the Roman fort there.  While having a chat with some other walkers, some friends up from the other direction, so funny to meet them there, and we had a good chat before going in opposite directions.  We headed downhill and back to Auchinstarry and had a look around the marina there, then decided on having coffee before driving home.  And who should we meet but our friends again.  It was fun to be able to meet up and have coffee together before heading home.

We did over 11,000 steps, and were well pleased with our progress on walking.  We are gradually getting back to fitness.
