Field of gold

A full on day at the (kitchen) desk with a series of meetings including our last big set piece planning one of the year. All went smoothly but a lot on at the moment.
It's been a beautiful sunny summer's day and rather a waste to be indoors all day, so as soon as the last meeting finished I set off for the long version of the Holyrood park walk and it was lovely to be out in it. Spent most of the walk talking to A on her way home about next steps with their discussions, credentials, empathy, communication, masculinity, power relations and all sorts, 
Home and needed to work in the evening to battle down the inbox and look through applications for V's replacement....I won't be watching the football I suspect!
