River of Flowers

Tuesday: #30DaysWild
Mr Blackbird - my lunchtime companion, who was happy to sit and watch me from a few yards away ... the perfect companion!
I'd gone to Benllech mid-morning to get some groceries from Tesco, stopping for Anglesey New Potatoes on the way and a chat with the lady on the stall, who I've known for a few years.
Benllech car park has had a makeover since I was last there - the whole place tarmacked with parking places marked clearly, looked everywhere for a ticket machine BUT it's still free!!
Didn't bother going down to beach, just straight home.
After lunch I potted on the Italian purple cauliflower seedlings and rainbow chard and made mixed pots of Cosmos, Mexican Daisy, Francoa sonchifolia (Bridalwreath), cornflower and assorted wildflower seedlings - then watered everything.
Sat down with a cup of tea when I was asked to help someone who was looking for her childhood family home ... I walked her round, stopping to ask one of my Mum's old friends (they confirmed what I remembered and were in a hurry to walk the dog then going to church to welcome their new vicar). Resumed the walk and took her past the home of one of the people she remembered - he was out in the garden, I left them to it ...
Was glad I'd cooked MrD's chilli this morning, he'd been on his motorbike all day.
New potatoes, broccoli and salmon for me, sat outdoors but no sign of my feathered friend :-((
MrD spotted all the bees around the Cotoneaster, it's absolutely covered with flower buds this year - maybe better photo tomorrow?
Stay safe & healthy & happy everyone :-)
Nos da pawb / goodnight all xx
