Gift

Tomorrow marks the end of Primary 2.

This afternoon we had a quick stop off at Morrison's as we biked home, and prepared some things for the last day.

We'd already made some extra thank you cards after CyclopsJnr's birthday so CyclopsJnr wrote two of those for tomorrow - one for his classroom teacher and one for his friend the crossing guard. We also bought chocolate for the crossing guard but not for the teacher as she receives a joint gift from the class via an official whip-round.

CyclopsJnr has been part of a group of three friends in P1/2, and this week we found out one of the group will not be returning for P3 as her family is moving abroad. CyclopsJnr is sad, he was crying yesterday and he wanted to give her one of his teddies to take with her. Well we suggested that he could choose her a new teddy as a parting gift, and write her a card. I think he was quite pleased to do those things for her.
