The Escapees

............ l was having a nice little walk over the fields when I suddenly spotted this chap wandering around in the crops along with a partner in crime.
They were obviously not supposed to be there so I approached them cautiously, not knowing quite what I was going to do when I got there. I had nearly got there when I suddenly heard someone calling ...... the horses heard her too but they were far too interested in munching the crops, so they totally ignored her.
I stopped still in case I spooked them but I was ready to try to cut them off at the pass if they moved. I waited for their owner to arrive and they were fortunately caught without me having to find out how brave I was when faced with two horses on the move.
Their time on the run had come to an end and they went quietly ( see extra) with no harm done .......... well, except to the farmer’s crops but hopefully that will recover ;-))
