The eldest has finished university!

So the eldest 'child' has finished university today. She took a gap year to travel, and volunteer in Burkina Faso, then took four years for her degree as  she spent her third year in Berlin. She is a 23 year old graduate. 

She will now look for a Masters next year in Development Economics / Politics but for now she has no plans - for the very first time in her life.

I am picking her up and all her things next week to return home for a bit while she adjusts and figures out the next few months.

Although she finds it unsettling to not know what the immediate future holds - I think it is liberating and look forward to supporting her as she makes her choices over the next few weeks. Plus she is now a great cook - she is a delight to have home!
