Apples, squirrels and puppies

This year I finally managed to get my act together and get the apple trees pruned.  Imagine that not only do they look just SO much better but they have fruit on them!  Last year the tree on the south side of the yard had two maybe three apples that the squirrels of course ate.  This year this shot alone has four baby apples coming that I quickly counted.  We will see how many I get after the squirrels do their damage.  Really I don't mind because squirrel antics are funny.

In the extras I'm putting a squirrel that is definitely going down the tree not up.  It was chasing another squirrel out of it's space.  I'm also going to include one action shot each of the girls because they made me laugh so I'm hoping others get some joy out of them too.  All three photos look best big on a computer screen.  You will also note a lot more cotton in the yard over yesterday's blip from the tree next door in the shots of the girls.  They are, for the most part, good girls so far.  Of course there is still plenty of time for me to teach them bad habits I'm sure.
