Two little dicky birds

These two Blackbird fledglings were out on the grass in front of the house & dad was busy feeding them. This was the best shot I got ..... they didn't seem to want to keep still! :-)

It did seem strange having Hubby home today instead of Wednesday!

We did manage to get several things sorted & three large bags of 'stuff' delivered to the charity shop (we can't do that on a Wednesday as the market is in the town). That freed up some space .... at last!

Set off for the supermarket ...... ended up sitting in a traffic jam ..... I hadn't ordered that! Apparently the level crossing gates had been jammed down ..... thankfully it did gradually clear & we got the shopping done!
