Another early start, this time for our family trip to the Black Country Museum. Supposed to be in Cyprus at the moment, instead we went to Dudley!

Had a lovely day, the museum was better than I was expecting. Matt bought me some sweets from the old sweet shop, and we had traditional fish and chips (minus the fish for me) for lunch in the sunshine.

In the afternoon we went to the next door Canal & Tunnel museum and had a boat ride through the old mining tunnels and into some seriously impressive underground caves. Really really cool, it was everyone’s favourite bit.

Dozed a bit on the drive home, then we had a takeaway (one of the nicest curries I’ve had in a long time) at Wendy’s before heading home.
