Fruits of our Labours

Today didn’t start well. I (Chris) woke with blurred vision and a translucent red patch in my line of sight in my right eye. I had what I think is the same issue 15 years ago, a bleed in the eye caused by diabetes retinopathy. I have an appointment on Friday morning to hopefully confirm and then work out what comes next.

The focus on our garden this year has been giving us a lot of enjoyment. Annie has always loved sweet peas and this year grown them from seed. We’re getting new flowers every day now and harvesting them just encourages more growth. Lovely.
