IMPACT's School Health Programme, Embu, Kenya

IMPACT takes action to improve the health of children in Embu and Kibwezi Districts, Kenya.

This shot shows pupils at Katwanyagah Primary School taking delivery of First Aid supplies for the school.

We hope to raise money to drill a borehole in the school grounds, which would provide pupils and the surrounding community (approx 1,000 families) with safe water.

Currently, outside of the rainy season, people collect water from local rivers, 7-8km away. These are infested with crocodiles, which makes collecting water incredibly dangerous.
