Barmekin Hill

I’d a walk up Barmekin Hill this morning which sits within the Dunecht estate. It was quite a warm and humid day and I was glad of any beeeze. The hill is notable for having the remains of a Pictish fort on the top with an inner and outer wall visible. This us a view from the top looking towards another hill with a hill fort - Bennachie.
