Three years...

It was three years ago now, when we first heard the whooshing of his powerful wings, followed by the splash into our swimming pool, when this gorgeous male Australian Wood Duck made our pool his own personal duck pond.

Early last year he brought his little lady friend to visit. Now here he is again as another season of visits to the pool begin, but now he is tame enough to also spend time nearer to our house as well, along with our other feathered visitors, feasting on the food I leave out for them.

What a privilege it is to have him returning for his third year. :)))
