On the Beach

This morning was a little dull and didn't look promising. Yesterday I decided that I wanted to go to Sandsend for a bit of a walk and lunch at a recommended pub. We set off just before 11 and were pleased to see the weather had brightened up considerably by the time we got to Sandsend.

The tide was out so I got my blip soon after we arrived. If I had waited until after lunch this scene would have been under water.  We drove through rain on the way home but there was no sign of any here and it was still a lovely day.

The lunch was OK but nothing to rave about and not a place we would go back to when our friends J & G come to visit.
