SERVICE

Today I signed of supply as my voice was just getting better so decided to have a lazy day.
In the afternoon I went into the hospital for a special service...(collecting the pianist en route) ...it was to welcome the volunteers back...many of whom have been away from their posts for 15 months! They have been missed and I think many of them have missed their important role in the hospital. Some of them were presented with a certificate for long service. One lady got 25 years!!! That’s some commitment. It was also a rededication service for the 3 chaplains in the 1st photo.
The sun shone...we were able to have the service outside...and we sang!!!
