Gold among the grey...
In the Olden Days ( before we knew the meaning of lockdown) I would meet friends Fiona and Janice monthly at Gloagburn Farm Shop & Cafe to have lunch a a good old blether. It's been sixteen months since we were able to do that but today we were back! :-))
Janice picked me up and we met Fiona there and it was so lovely to be back there. Unfortunately the lovely sunny morning had turned grey and heavy rain started to fall, but that didn't bother us as we had a good old catch up and as usual, we were the last to leave. The sound of the hoover is usually our cue to get up!
Janice dropped me off at home. Lola was very happy to see her (Janice owns Lola's brother Ted) We are hoping Ted will come and visit us soon.
David was back from playing golf and wasn't bothered about being rained on as he won the round. Just as David was giving me a blow by blow account of each hole a scintillating update of his round, Lola jumped up onto her stool to get a better view of a pigeon who'd had the cheek to come into her garden. As I didn't have a blip in the bag for today, she is it :-))
