Today is my bros birthday. I drove down to pick him up and share my last credit of a 4WD experience but this time at Solihull HQ. We chose to drive the new Defender, it's divided opinion and I sympathise with those who think the old Defender could have stayed in production forever, but there is no doubting this new vehicle can do more than the iconic predecessor could ever do off road and all in luxurious comfort as well. A good boys day out.
To add to my wildlife luck this week I also saw this 2 year old red deer on the way back, a good test of my brakes,  quick turn and thankfully he looked as curiously at me as I did at him. Those main trunks of his antlers will develop impressive branches in future years.
