Musical day 1

Today I was photographing the dress rehearsal and opening night of the primary school musical. Great fun as always and I've made 1145 photos. A great start for the photo album.

Because of COVID restrictions, only half of the parents were present today. There was also a live internet stream for relatives, so that grandparents, uncles and aunts were also able to see the musical. Tomorrow the other half of the parents will be there. There will be two more performances: one for the school children tomorrow morning and the other one tomorrow night.

Even though I made some great shots, I can't upload any of them for obvious privacy reasons, so this shot of the light mixer will have to do. This mixer played a key role today, as it somehow forgot all the stage light settings halfway through the show. This was a complicated program with different light settings for every scene. Fortunately, the program was also written down on paper and after some frantic reprogramming by the light technician, the show could continue after an extra long break.
