Sand Dunes

Sand Dunes, in the middle of Colorado, really? I'll be damned, those really are sand dunes. Today they were cold, snowy, windy sand dunes, but sand dunes nonetheless.

Regular mountains right there, some flat space in the middle, and behind me (not in the photo) are the towering dunes. What a strange place.

We decided to stop off on the way back home for a visit and quick hike. It certainly topped off the vacation. I'm not ready to go back to work yet, more vacation!
