Spring Hellebores
There are lots of spring flowers growing in Mums garden at the moment. It must be far more sheltered than ours, despite the east winds that blow across the fields. A walk around the garden revealed snowdrops, still flowering strongly, crocus, Iris Reticulata and small narcissi as well as the hellebores.
It's been a very eventful day here. Starting with the men who came to replace the bathroom window and Merv who was finishing off one or two jobs on the bathroom fan and wastepipe outside. Then we had a visitor from Wakefield Housing to talk to us about their alarm system - so that mum has a way of contacting outside help in an emergency. We're now sat here waiting for the boiler repair man as we seem to have lost the heating. I think I know what's happened so think he should be able to sort it quite quickly.
Meanwhile my cold has come back - and coupled with mt lack of sleep its left me feeling a bit under par - I think the little grey cells are not responding as well as they might!
