Three wild orchids.
The Feast day of Saint Maximus of Turin.
These lovely little orchids were growing in a field of mostly buttercups and grasses alongside the Rishton railway embankment. I know more about garden flowers and I still need to learn about the vast diversity of wild flowers.
Many starlings and magpies are learning to fly in our neighbourhood, and as I went out to buy our newspaper, I came across a dead young starling on the pavement.
It is a cold rainy day here, and Arthur is not eating properly, but is sleeping.
Thanks for visiting and have a good day blip friends.
