Sugar bubbles

Yesterday was Mama's last day of school so we had a wee party to celebrate her. Rosie made a lemon cake, which she did such a great job on - this picture is of the bubbling sugar syrup that we're making candied lemon peels in.

It's quite amazing that it's already been a year in this job for Mama - it's been tricky at times and pretty unpredictable/changeable, but she's done so well to support her students in such a challenging period. Hopefully next year brings a bit more stability for her!
