Family Duck

Mother duck with her offspring in the border next to the cyclists' path ~ I 'd halted a few meters before them and apparently that's safe enough for mother duck as she didn't alarm her babes and allowed me to make a few steps forward towards them for taking this photo... SOOC it is and she's pleased me lots with her cool nerves!

In the extra a young spoonbill what's grown as big as an adult, but flying away is something it still was probing on.
