PUTTING MY FEET UP

Been packing all day and was feeling weary so took a cup of tea to the upper deck. We have most of our meals here and enjoy watching the activities of our small Navy. Some mornings one of the submarines putters out to sea, other days a frigate explores False Bay. This week the Navy have been practising sea rescues using the helicopter. A minesweeper with personel in orange jackets returned to base this afternoon. The binocs are always at hand.
All very entertaining but I had better get on with the job!
