Kirkconnel Flow Nature Reserve

We had a busy day with Ursula . In the morning we went for a walk in Kirkconnel Flow Nature Reserve.
The Scots pine looked magnificent.
We then picked up my Mum who treated us all to lunch at The Usual Place.
Later we went to Threave nature reserve to see the ospreys. We watched the male fly back to the nest with a fish. On the walk around the reserve we saw roe deer with fawns and a peregrine falcon perched on top of Threave Castle.
