Don’t look down / Schau nicht nach unten

The Skulpturenpark Katzow is a hidden gem nestled outside a small village between Greifswald and the Baltic island of Usedom.

It’s home to an impressive collection of sculptures from a range of international artists. They tend towards the large, abstract, iron - but that’s no bad thing, especially as it makes them pretty indestructible, thus good for kids to clamber over.

This one is by Polish sculptor Thomasz Domanski. I find it rather clever in that it has a fluid, swirling effect, but on closer examination seems to be made entirely of squares of iron. Just don’t look down when climbing up!
