Schnozzle Durante

I watched this broad-nosed weevil climb a burdock plant and blunder into an ant aphid farm. It was soon smothered with ants. They protect their aphids from predators. (This insect poses no threat to aphids, it eats leaves.) It then clambered on towards the top of the plant, still with an ant on its nose. Not sure of its identity, could be a common leaf weevil.
