The searing pain only lasts a minute or so then it actually felt quite enjoyable.
In other news, it was lovely to have both boys over to stay for the first time since last August. Although it did lead to the surreal sight of all four of us showing our negative Covid test results via WhatsApp earlier in the day.
The new normal indeed.
