The sunshine state

Queensland is called the sunshine state and we are on the Sunshine Coast. It isn’t happening at the moment with rainy weather. 

Our get together is on tonight for Paul, Julie and John’s birthdays. They are Bob’s siblings. Unfortunately John and Mary & Margaret and Joe are stuck in Sydney with a new lockdown. However the rest of the gang is here including Carol, Julie and Peter and their spouses. The 7 siblings have only been together a couple of times in the 45 years I have known them. Such a shame but that is life these days. The next generation wasn’t invited tonight but tomorrow some of the local nieces and nephews will join us for a lunch for about 24. The rest of family is much bigger and I haven’t tried to count them all. 

This is the only blip I have taken today on the road from Toogoolawah to Sandstone Point. Now I’m off to socialise….
