Pinks in Red

I planted this little perennial in a garden pot a few years ago, and so far it has come up every year since. I think they originally came from my brother-in-law.  An internet search yielded the information that it is a Dianthus (aka Pinks) probably dianthus barbatus Rockin' Red. Whatever it is, it cheers the garden up and makes for a nice study for BikerBear's Flower Friday.
