everyone loves a car boot

Today was the day - long-anticipated - of the Dunscore Plant Sale (with teas and car boot) in aid of church funds. People (some of whom had not seen each other for 15 months were able to meet up (sensibly, outdoors) and talk to each other in person. It was also a great opportunity to bag a bargain.

I bought some plants for the garden and I just got to the car boot sale in time to get the last-but-one jigsaw. But really it was all about the conversation :-)

This afternoon Chris, Sarah and I have had a table football tournament and now they are in the kitchen, making a batch of lime pickle with D.

Time for my walk, I think..
