... and finally!

Today we bow-out of this family home. It's our final visit and the 3 floors + cellar are reduced to these few items.

As the light streamed into the front room, it reminded me of the good times we had in this room as children.... the tent we found erected here one Christmas ... the pirate swords and treasure hunts that started here ... the loops of (clockwork) railways with trains that hurtled round on the floor until they needed winding up again.

This house had it's very sad stories too - caused by WWII... but as children we were lovingly kept from these in the main so our memories are happy ones.
