Rush Hour

On the Long Mynd and one that got away in extra!

It's the morning after the night before for us  .................  not a particularly late one but  spent with the nownolongerNomads celebrating their first night in their new home.  Alcoholic beverages were consumed in the forms of fizz, red and white accompanied the very good fish 'n' chips and a small cognac with coffee to finish.  So with a slightly fuzzy head this morning and a bit of a late start we got going and went to our local PYO fruit farm and came home with a couple of large punnets of their lovely strawberries - we didn't actually pic our own as bending down might have been a bit of a challenge, so were grateful to purchase the ready picked ones together with a pot of thick Jersey cream!!  Obviously days of abstinence and diet sensible eating and drinking will follow ................?

A drive to Shrewsbury in the afternoon and a quick stop off at a Retail Park to return or exchange a garment and then off up to the Gliding Club.  Very windy up there so challenging for the pilots but plenty going on and really lovely to see and catch up with old friends.  Tea and cake in the Clubhouse and then the drive home to cook dinner and put our feet up.  

I think Admirer would see the funny side of today!!
