New day, new buggy!
Maple's first very own big thing. She is happily a hand-me-down kind of girl. We bought her a lovely sling (Although it still needs fixing), and a few cute outfits but that's about it. We have been using the double buggy less and less with the twins as they love to walk., and felt it was time for a more streamlined single.
We adore Mountain Buggy and have had two. The duo was from newborn and pushed like a dream. The suspension on those things is in a league of it's own. I am sure some of you will remember us winning the Mountain Buggy Duet competition (Thanks again for your votes!). We won the duet and it is still a sexy beast of a buggy. The narrowest side by side on the market and great to push.
We felt like a change and decided on the Bugaboo. In my London nannying days, the three children I looked after and adored had a Bugaboo Chameleon. I used to dream of the day I'd have my own children and possibly have my own Bugaboo. Little did I know what was instore for us!
I almost bought the baby pink Bugaboo Bee. The shop assistants spent more than 30 minutes fitting the pink sun-hood only to hear me change my mind to the sand. Much more common, but a little more versatile. (Matches our bag too!). In the meantime, Oscar was running riot around the shop, emptying reusable swimming nappy boxes and climbing into the carseats for sale.
We had a family picnic dinner in the park in the late afternoon.
