Jersey tiger moth caterpillar

L found two hairy caterpillars in the garden this morning. Very exciting find. These moths are pretty rare in England but we seem to get at least one in our garden every year.

This afternoon L and I went to a little gathering with her best friend from nursery at his grandparents’ house. It was really lovely to do something really normal... and L had a ball playing with her favourite boy (E) and another little girl who was there.
