Drizzle

A view of the Roker lighthouse through a fine, cold drizzle. Midsummer in Sunderland, holiday at home everyone - just bring a few thick jumpers and a cagoule. We’re down here for the tenpin tournament again, restored to the sporting calendar but with a different format of pairs and singles matches only. It’s great to be here again but I’m a tad concerned about the bowling centre being a giant covid Petri dish! No social distancing worth a jot and as for masks, there were a few, but then again, too few to mention.
